What is essEnce5?
essEnce5 is a fuel made up of 95% conventional petrol (unleaded 95) and 5% bioethanol.
There is no need to change or modify a car, since essEnce5 is compatible with all petrol vehicles without any adjustments or special precautions.
It is a standardised fuel, meaning that it meets the standards for conventional car fuels. When ethanol is mixed at 5% by volume it complies with SN EN 228.
This standard should gradually increase to an additive rate of 10%.
essEnce5 is now available in service stations selling conventional petrol. Existing installations do not need to be replaced or altered in any way.
